How do I place a bid?

If you win an auction, you will receive a notification with payment instructions. You must complete the payment within the specified timeframe. Once payment is confirmed, the seller will arrange delivery of the fish.
How is the fish delivered?
Delivery arrangements are made between the buyer and seller. Most sellers offer nationwide shipping with proper packaging to ensure freshness. Local pickup options may also be available.
What if the fish quality is not as described?
We have a dispute resolution process. If the fish quality doesn't match the description, you can file a dispute within 24 hours of delivery. Our team will investigate and work towards a fair resolution.
For Sellers
How do I become a seller?
Register an account and select "Seller" as your role. Complete your profile verification, including business information and fishing licenses. Once verified, you can start creating listings.
What fees does FishBid charge?
We charge a small commission on successful auctions. The commission rate varies based on the sale value. There are no listing fees or monthly subscriptions.
How do I get paid?
Payments are processed through our secure payment system. Once the buyer completes payment and the transaction is finalized, funds are transferred to your registered bank account within 3-5 business days.
Can I cancel an auction?
Auctions can be cancelled before they start or if there are no bids. Once bids have been placed, cancellation requires approval from our support team and may affect your seller rating.
